The How, When, What, of consigning
Let's start with WHY- not only is it great for the environment but it can be great for your pocketbook! As someone who loves to shop secondhand, not only do I feel like I am not contributing to the mass production of fast fashion, but I get the thrill of the hunt and a bargain to boot!
WHAT -
We take modern brands and styles of clothing, shoes, bags/purse, accessories, jewelry as well as Retro/Vintage Fashions.
We take Clothes Seasonally, so please call to see what season we are accepting.
WHEN-
Tuesday and Friday's 11:30-4:00 BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
call 651-699-7522, you may bring up to 30 items/appointment
Wednesday's & Thursdays you can walk in with up to
*15 items/per person/per Wednesday or Thursday
*please check in at the consignment desk before bringing in your items
*We will start at 11am and will take the first 40 people who come in or go until 3pm, whichever comes first.
*Be prepared to possibly have to wait-but you can take a snoop around the store!
If you are an existing consignor please choose ANY day but these days to pick up your expired items, we will NOT be able to assist you in finding them.
HOW-
Please bring in items according to the instructions below. Items will not be processed if criteria are not met, you may return with them once they are correct. PLEASE DO YOUR PREP WORK. IT'LL HELP YOUR ITEMS SELL FASTER AT A HIGHER PRICE AND EVERYONE CAN BE HAPPY
CLOTHING-
*MUST BE BROUGHT IN ON HANGERS, we have loads if you need to swing by and get some BEFORE you come in. You will get your hangers back.
*Must be brought in clean, wrinkle free, stain free, hair free and smoke/scent free. Please check collars, armpits, cuffs and crotches.
SHOES-
*Must be wiped clean, inside and outside-clean treads and footbeds, please!
*laces tied, if applicable
*Brought in a hard sided bin or box
BAGS/PURSES-
*Cleaned inside & out
*All the zippers, buckles, clasps, bells & whistles in working order
*No wear on the corners
ACCESSORIES/JEWELRY-
*Scarves either hung or folded nicely in a bin
*Jewelry must be tarnish free and have all its bits & baubles
*Bring jewelry in either in individual bags or boxes to keep from tangling
VINTAGE
*Items that are retro/vintage are expected to have a little more wear and are sold "as is", as long as it is not major stains, holes or smells
*If a flaw or damage of the items is noticed anytime after intake, you will be notified and given 3 days to pick up item otherwise it will be donated.
