*It is a 50/50 split of the profit between consignor and store
*You do not get money until item has sold, we do not buy outright.
*All items are on the floor for 90 days total.
*At 60 days they will be reduced to 50% off.
*At 90 days, if the item has not sold the item will become the store's property and will be discounted further at no profit to the consignor or item will be donated.
*You may come and retrieve these items, however you are in charge of keeping track of the 90 day expiration date (don't panic- there will be a link provided for you to check your account online that will give you the info pertaining to your items)
*We also ask that if you do come in to pick up your items, be prepared that it takes time & patience, we will help you if we aren't busy but YOU are ultimately in charge of locating the items.
*Although we take precautions to prevent unfortunate incidents, Encore is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. If you think you will die if any of these were to happen, then I would reconsider consigning.
*Your money will go into an account in the store's system and will remain there until you tell us what to do. If amount is less than $20 we can give you cash, you can pick up or have a check mailed to you (checks are issued at $20 and more), or you can use it towards anything in the store.
*Throughout the consignment period we reserve the right to offer promotions, discounts & sales on inventory in order to help things move-which is the ultimate goal, right?
*If an item is received and a flaw is noticed during the consignment period, you will be notified either by email or phone call and you will have 3 days to pick up item if you don't want it donated.
*This should be a fun, safe, non stressful process for both you and the employees of Encore. Just as you have freedom to choose to consign elsewhere, we are free to end any contract with any consignor at anytime.
